Dr. Rick Hinson

Dr. Hinson was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, but his early years were shaped by frequent moves as part of a military family because his father served as an Army officer. After earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, Dr. Hinson began what would become a lifelong dedication to providing exceptional care to pets and their families. For the past 24 years, he has proudly served as a practice owner, leading with compassion and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of veterinary medicine. Outside the hospital, Dr. Hinson enjoys spending time in nature through fishing, camping, and hiking. He also has a passion for reptiles and amphibians, considering himself an amateur herpetologist who enjoys learning about and observing these fascinating creatures.
