As a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Daniel Watson, DVM, brings over a decade of expertise to our practice and is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to his pet patients. Dr. Watson’s interests include preventive care, surgery and dentistry. His compassionate approach and commitment to ongoing education ensure that every furry friend receives the highest standard of care. Outside of work, Dr. Watson enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and dog, Charlie.
Dr. Kristen Snyder
Emory Road
Dr. Snyder’s passion for animals has taken her all over the world, and has been cultivated in various environments such as farms, zoos, shelters, and research settings. After earning her Master’s Degree in Animal Behavior and Neuroscience, Dr. Snyder chased her dream and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She has proudly worked with Embassy Veterinary Center since 2021. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys long-distance running, riding motorcycles, traveling, going to Disney World, and spending time with her husband, 3 cats, and her three-legged Belgian Malinois, Cody.
Dr. Michelle Smith
Emory Road
Dr. Smith is an associate veterinarian with Embassy Vet Center. She grew up mostly in Chattanooga, TN with a short stint in East Texas. She attended her undergraduate degree in chemistry at UT Chattanooga, but started working in a veterinary clinic and fell in love with the profession. She moved to Knoxville for vet school and decided it was too great here to leave! Her professional interests lie in dentistry, but also more importantly the human animal bond and the importance of that relationship between pet and pet parent. When she isn’t working you’ll find her spending time with her family and her pets, and playing in her garden.
Dr. Laura Grieco
Lenoir City
Dr. Grieco is originally from Philadelphia, PA where she received her B.S in Biology from Temple University and Masters from Drexel University. She moved to Knoxville to attend veterinary school and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Following graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship. Since then, she has been working in general practice and joined the Embassy team as an associate veterinarian in 2021. Her special interests lie in dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is also fear free certified and enjoys working with patients and clients that experience anxiety or aggression issues. She resides in the Concord area with her husband, two dogs Birdie and Woodford, and two cats Xena and Zola. During her free time she enjoys the lake, baking, and going to UT football games.
Dr. Taylor Martin

Dr. Taylor Martin was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She is a proud alumni of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and has been serving clients in the Knoxville area since 2013. Dr. Martin’s professional interests include feline medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, geriatrics, and palliative care. Dr. Martin is certified in Fear Free and Cat Friendly techniques and works hard to make your pet’s veterinary experience as pleasant and low-stress as possible. Her hobbies outside of work include skiing, exercising (she can often be seen running around Hardin Valley during lunchtime), traveling, and other outdoor activities. She and her husband Eric have twin girls, a dog, and five cats.

Dr. Emily Willems

Dr. Emily Willems is a proud alumna of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Colorado, but has lived in Tennessee for the majority of her life. Her love of veterinary medicine sparked in high school, when she completed a summer internship at the University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Veterinary Medicine. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Tennessee Tech University before attending LMU. She has a special interest in feline medicine, surgery, and preventative care. Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys working out, reading, playing music, and spending time with her beloved feline companion, Kain.
Dr. Kristen Wenning

Dr. Kristen Wenning graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 and completed her clinical year at North Carolina State University. She was in general practice for a short period of time before matching to a small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee, which she completed in June of 2024. Dr. Wenning has always had a passion for animals and prior to attending veterinary school, she was a veterinary technician for five and a half years. In her spare time, Dr. Wenning enjoys horseback riding, spending time with friends and family, and walking her dog, Hollow. In addition to Hollow, she also has a cat named Tito.
Dr. Leah Nagel

Doctor Leah Nagel graduated from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Her special interests include senior and geriatric care, pain management, internal medicine, and dentistry. She has been a certified Fear Free veterinarian since 2018 and has been Feline Friendly certified since 2024. In 2022, she earned a certification in veterinary medical acupuncture from CuraCore and is happy to bring acupuncture to our practice. In her free time, she enjoys many outdoor pursuits including hiking, biking, travel, and triathlon. She shares her home with her husband, two cats, one Australian shepherd and a son on the way.
Dr. Mackenzy Horner

Dr Horner’s passion for veterinary medicine started at a young age. She started her career in high school as a kennel technician before becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She decided to continue her education and graduated from Ross University in 2015. Her clinical year was completed at the University of Tennessee and she loved the area so much she decided to lay down some roots. Her passions include integrative medical practices combining the best of western medicine with eastern medical practices such as acupuncture. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and furbaby Willa Rose.
Dr. Zach Eboch
Land O'Lakes
Dr. Eboch graduated from Ross University in 2023 and completed his clinical year at the University of Tennessee. He stayed in the Knoxville area working as a general practitioner for just over a year before moving to Florida. Dr. Eboch’s special interests are preventive care, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. Outside of work he enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and dogs; Duke, Stella and Honey. They are a Great Dane, a mixed breed dog and a Golden retriever.
