Dr. Alyssa Widener

Hardin Valley

Dr. Widener is originally from Southern California and moved to Knoxville in 2017 to attend the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2021, she has been working in general practice and joined the Embassy Veterinary team in 2025. She has a special interest in One Health, preventative medicine and hospice pet care. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their two dogs and three cats. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Widener enjoys reading, anything Disney, and attending her regularly scheduled D&D games.

Dr. Lollar

Hardin Valley, Lenoir City

Dr. Lollar has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since elementary school. She graduated from Maryville High School and continued on to the University of Tennessee earning a BS in agriculture with an Animal Science major. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1007 and has practiced in Blount and Sevier counties for almost 20 years.
Dr. Lollar loves preventative care and takes a special interest in unusual surgical cases and managing long term medical cases. Her dedication to personalized care often creates strong bonds with her patients, clients, and staff. Many of her clients and staff refer to her as the Chiahuahua Whisperer as she takes a special interest in this breed, especially the ones wiht a “big personality”.
Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Lollar enjoys spending time wiht her husband, two sons, and extended family and friends. Her hobbies include cooking, entertaining, traveling, camping, and cheering for all the UT sports teams. Go Vols!
Dr.Lollar basically has a zoo at home: two chihuahuas (Greatta Jean and Hazel Jane), a Pomeranian mix (Chase), a Weimaraner named Winston, two cats (Hudson and Pheloneigh), two lizards (Jim the bearded dragon and Miguel the leopard gecko) and a ball python named Pam.

Dr. Ed McEnroe

Lenoir City

Dr. Lawrence Edward McEnroe IV (“Dr. Ed”), is a small animal veterinarian who graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. His professional interests include diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, and cats. He and his wife, also a small animal vet, have two wonderful children, and two cats (Winnie and Roo). Outside the clinic, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, cooking for family and friends, baking chocolate chip cookies for his co-workers, and playing the piano. He also strives to make friends with every cat he encounters. Ed has practiced in several states since graduation, and has been with Embassy Veterinary Center at Lenoir City since April 2022. He and his family are proud to call East Tennessee home – Go Vols and Lady Vols!

Dr. Emily Willems

Hardin Valley

Dr. Emily Willems is a proud alumna of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Colorado, but has lived in Tennessee for the majority of her life. Her love of veterinary medicine sparked in high school, when she completed a summer internship at the University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Veterinary Medicine. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Tennessee Tech University before attending LMU. She has a special interest in feline medicine, surgery, and preventative care. Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys working out, reading, playing music, and spending time with her beloved feline companion, Kain.

Dr. Mackenzy Horner

Emory Road

Dr Horner’s passion for veterinary medicine started at a young age. She started her career in high school as a kennel technician before becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She decided to continue her education and graduated from Ross University in 2015. Her clinical year was completed at the University of Tennessee and she loved the area so much she decided to lay down some roots. Her passions include integrative medical practices combining the best of western medicine with eastern medical practices such as acupuncture. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and furbaby Willa Rose.
