Dr. Alyssa Widener

Dr. Widener is originally from Southern California and moved to Knoxville in 2017 to attend the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2021, she has been working in general practice and joined the Embassy Veterinary team in 2025. She has a special interest in One Health, preventative medicine and hospice pet care. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their two dogs and three cats. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Widener enjoys reading, anything Disney, and attending her regularly scheduled D&D games.
